Baked Asparagus with Cheddar Melt

Preparation

  1. Blanch a bunch of asparagus for about 1 minute. Allow to cool and put onto a baking tray so that they overlap slightly.
  2. Drizzle them with about a teaspoon of olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Heap about 2 tablespoons of Shredded Cheddar over the asparagus and bake in a hot oven just until the cheese melts and becomes golden.
  4. Remove from grill and add freshly ground black pepper.
